The other day I needed to pin part of an Azure Monitor Workbook to an Azure Dashboard. Luckily, this is possible!

The solution is quite simple:

Open the workbook you need to pin a part of. Let`s just use a default workbook for simplicity. Make sure you have chosen the intended dashboard as your “current dashboard” before doing this.

Choose “Edit” next to the pencil, and find the “Show pin options” icon in the edit line and click it.

Finally press the “pin icon” next to the the workbook step you want to pin.
